Tricks to fight Depression....


If you are going through a complex condition characterized by loss of interest in social living coupled with profound sadness and a strong feeling of worthlessness, then all you need to do is to try your best and stand against it.

"Depression is Devastating...."

Medication is known to help an individual against depression, but here let me list some general tricks apart from swallowing sour pills or undergoing through some psych therapies to make such a condition better. 

  • Solitude a source of Sabotage: "Family and friends will stay with you during the tough times." If you believe in this then you will definitely prevent the hallmark of depression, i.e., SOLITUDE.  Yes, if you think you are becoming isolated, reach out to people, improve and expand your social access.  
  • Regularize your Routine: Well, may be, you really have an irregular routine thats making you lethargic (for instance, spending a lot of time to sleep in the day, which can keep you up late). Your inconsistency in food and sleep habits can really cause some huge loss. Sticking yourselves to a structured routine can help you fight your condition. 
  • Remain Realistic: Negative thoughts can without a doubt paralyze you (a few like, "I'm no good" or "no one loves me"). Value yourself and remain realistic. Motivate yourself and develop positive thinking.   
  • Stop being a Seer or a Sibyl: It's quite common that we predict a lot during the gloomy times. But remember most often they don't happen (for instance, the weather forecast), more over can make you more miserable. So simply stop being a forecaster, but see the colours in your life.
  • Try having a full plate:  Remember? - "An idle man's brain is a devil's workshop." So try and keep yourself busy. Think smart and give yourself some small and accomplishable goals. This can build your confidence at the same time stop the devil from playing your game.
Here's a free advice --- Stop ruminating your past or forecasting your future, but trust yourself, negotiate the flow of negative thoughts that offer some worst imaginations and motivate yourself, which stand crucial to cheer your spirits and help you overcome the melancholic moods.
