A (HOLY...) Day without ELECTRONIC GADGETS....?????

                       Time has changed a lot from the past. Today, we could not imagine a minute of our day without using some electronic gadgets, which are among us as a part of the innovative skills of our ancestors and hold a great impact on our lives. They are actually invented to save our time  and help us lead a better life. But, do we always use it in the right way???

Is the technology helping us lead our lives in the right way or are we missing some of the most valuable time of our lives with the innovative goods???

Let me use this blog post of mine to channel out my views....

Technology is the life of modern society, but a defect free software doesn't exist..  

                      Imagine yourself without any of the smart phones, laptops or any other gadgets that keep you busy all day. Intriguing isn't it???

Well If I am supposed to spend a day away from all these technological innovations I have some cool thoughts, passing across...

                             First thing I do is to choose a holiday destination with limited population, no network signals located close to nature and some how reach the place (guess  I need to take the help of technology here, but it could be limited). I will then try myself finding a home away from home, which could be a cosy cottage, close to some prairies, wildlife and water bodies. 

I feed on the berries and fruits to suffice my appetite, swim till I relax in the nearby water body and then crawl into the arms of nature. With my loved ones around,  I spend some reasonable time, play out the child in me and finally tire myself completely by forgetting the materialistic world around. After a pleasing day I lay like a log and look forward for my next move....                             

Now let me put down the miserable side of this interesting phenomenon.

                         Leading a life without using a gadget now seems to be a dream or may happen on interest only on a holiday. This is because....

Our life, on daily basis starts with the buzzing of a digital alarm, which is often hit on the snooze button. Then after the nature call we move straight to the news updates on the so called idiot box (way to update, if you are in with the "save trees" mission), by sipping out some hot coffee. Its then time for a hot shower and we simply switch on our water geysers, prepare a bread toast for the breakfast using the toaster, which we eventually try to finish off soon and start with our day to work.

As a part of our healthy living, and as a matter of area availability, we choose to stay at heights and so it is the lifts again we seek to get down and unfortunately if the power goes off, no issue, we simply turn towards the generator.

                   Finally we get down and take the help of our auto start power engine vehicle and reach our work place, where we sit with the computers in front.We take some time off work for tea by filling the cup from a machine, heat some precooked food using the oven and finally sit for a friendly chat by answering calls from our smart phones or texting people away from us (we actually ignore the ones around) or play some favourite games on iPad. We some how try to finish off the days assignment get back home and sit with the idiot box again waiting for the dinner to be served. 

All the way we look for a better and a faster WiFi to check out some video uploads on youTube, the news feeds on Facebook and make some tweets. Finally we rest for the day in our air-conditioned bedrooms thinking about the former half of the above said opening phrase.....

Technology is the life of modern society!!!!

But we do forget (often ignore) the later half,
