Spin a tale around the sleeping baby - 7

I always doubt if babies really dream while sleeping, but looking at their cute little innocent face, we can start imagining several things. Today, I imagined my little love enjoying a snowy night but my little darling has grown more than her age. And now my imagination gave life to a little old lady, whom my daughter called the Granny in Snow.

Now here is my tale around this pretty little granny in the snow for my Samyu. Hope you love this small story spun for my sweet Samyu.

Title of the Story:

Squirrel and the 👵  granny in snow ❄️

Characters: an old woman, squirrel

Story

Once upon a time, there lived an old woman, who is kind and generous but poor. She lived in a small shack, with many holes on its roof. Near the hut is a very big tree 🌲, which is a home for several creatures, one of which is a tiny garden squirrel. On a cold night when it is raining snow, ❄️ the little squirrel could not stand the cold any longer and started moving about on the tree in search of a warm place but in vain.
The old woman who noticed all this from the window of her shack came towards the tree and started stretching her arm towards the squirrel. She then told the squirrel to hop on her arm and come along with her into her hut, so that she can keep him warm.
The squirrel could feel a kind of concern in the old woman's call and hopped on her arm. Then both of them went into the hut, where the old woman comforted him. She made some hot corn soup for the tiny critter. Granny fed the squirrel the soup and he drank it merrily and could feel the warmth. After some time both the old woman and the squirrel fell fast asleep.
Early the next morning the old woman woke up and boiled some hot milk for her as well as her guest. But did not find the little creature anywhere. She thought he left and was back to her daily chores. After some time, she heard a strange noise on the roof of her shack. To her surprise, she saw the little squirrel filling the gaps in her roof using some tree wood.
The old woman was surprised at the helping nature of this tiny creature and thanked him for the help extended. She asked him how he finished such a tough task. The squirrel then replied that he noticed the holes on the roof during his stay in the hut and could easily collect the required amount of tree wood and the coir needed to fill the gaps.
She was overwhelmed with the helping nature of the tiny creature and offered him to stay with her as many days as he wants and the squirrel agreed to the offer. Since then, they both remained happily in the tiny shack, which passed several rainy seasons.

Moral: Use your strength and help those in need.
