Spin a tale around the sleeping baby - 21

It has been more than a month since I posted something in my blog. And here I come up with something again. The story will be around this picture.
Thief---Valmiki

While looking at the old pictures of my little Saanvi, I suddenly found a picture around which we forgot weaving a tale. I thought of making a tale around it. But then came Ramnavami and I quickly decided to tell the tale of the author of Ramayana, who is a wonderful example of transformation from bad to good to my little Samyu.
Do you know???
Sage Valmiki, the author of the greatest Indian epics Ramayana, is a thief during his early stages. Let us quickly read the story of this great man.

Title of the story:

The Journey Of A Baby Thief๐Ÿ‘บ To The Greatest Saint๐Ÿ™ - Valmiki

Characters:

Thief, family members of the thief, Narada.

Story:

Once upon a time, there lived a sage called Prachetasa on the banks of river๐ŸŒŠ Ganges. He had a son๐Ÿ‘ฆ, who got lost in the jungle at a very tender age. The boy was found by a hunter who passed by. He grew up under the love of his foster parents and actually forgot his real parents. He grew up into a thief named Ratnakara. He used to kill everyone he came across and rob them of everything they have. He used to feed๐Ÿ› his family from the loot.

One day, he came across Narada (sage in Indian mythology) and decided to rob them. He showed his dagger๐Ÿ—ก and asked him to give away all his valuables. The sage smiled to himself and softly asked Ratnakara the reason behind his terrible act. The thief simply answered to feed and to take care of his family๐Ÿ‘ช. Narada then asked will they accompany you to hell in all these sins? Ratnakara looked little doubtful but said yes. Narada smiled and asked him to go home๐Ÿก and ask his family the same question. He also told that if they agree, then he will give away all his valuables.
Ratnakara rushed to his house and walked straight to his wife๐Ÿ‘ฉ. He asked her if she would take part in his sins? To this, she simply said no. Half broken Ratnakara went to his parents๐Ÿ‘ซ and asked them the same question. He did not get a different answer even from them. They told that he alone will be punished by the god for his criminal deeds and no one in the family will get a share of it.
With a broken heart๐Ÿ’”, he went back to the divine sage. He fell at his feet and begged him for a way out. Narada asked him to sit and chant the sacred name "RAMA", till he came back. But Ratnakara could not do it. Instead, he meditated it as "Ma Ra". He sat in a meditative posture and continued doing the same for years and years. An anthill๐Ÿœ grew all over him. Again after years Narada passed the same way, heard a voice chanting the Rama Mantra from the anthill and dug it. He found a man and brought him out of it. He called him Valmiki, which in Sanskrit means anthill.

He then asked him to lead a holy life and with the help of Brahma gave him a vision to write the story of Sri Rama. He then wrote the Ramayana, which is called as the Adikavya today and Valmiki is called as the Adikavi.

Moral: Change is inevitable for growth and great things never come from comfort zones.
